Kenneth Omeruo: Playing in the Spanish League is quite huge

Date:

The rock solid defender Kenneth Omeruo of CD Leganes and as well Super Eagles Player who is presently in the camp of the Super Eagles in Johannesburg spoke exclusively today to footballlive.ng.

Playing in the Spanish League is quite huge, it is an opportunity I longed for and I have waited for and eventually when it came i grab it with my both hands.

I had several offers beckoning at that point but i settled down for Leganes knowing fully well i am to going to play in one of the best league in the world, if not the best.

I am actually enjoying my game at the moment, four straight game is quite impressive for me and the last match that ended in a barren draw is good for our confidence and aspiration of remaining in the Elite League.

I am actually here not for the club side, but totally here for the Super Eagles , i am focused and i am ready and i am eager to play if given an opportunity to play.

I want to represent my father land at every chance i get.

Though our opponent won the first leg in Uyo , but this time around we hope to beat Bafana Bafana in their own soil and i have played in the stadium before 2013 when we won the afcon .

We want to win and ensure that the last match will be a mere formality for the Super Eagles .

Former U-20 World Cup player concluded by saying i think the 90 minutes will justify who goes home with the three points.
