Kogi United Gaffer Blames Moment Loss Of Concentration For Last Gasp Defeat

Head Coach of Kogi United, Tunde Abdulrahman has described his team’s loss as painful but commended his boys for sticking to the match tactics which almost earned his side a point.

Coach Abdulrahman blamed the goal on a moment loss of concentration from his players but backed his team to improve their performance in the last game against Wikki Tourists on Friday and stand a chance of progressing to the quarterfinals of the competition.

Speaking to www.footballlive.ng“It was a painful result because we should have earned a point. I think we paid dearly for a moment loss of concentration, but but I am happy with our overall performance.”

The Coach who believes his team still had a fighting chance concluded by saying, “Its not over for us and I am convinced that if the team plays in the same way we approached today’s game, we stand a good chance of beating Wikki Tourists.”
