Winger Kola Raimi was ‘pleased’ with his Abia Warriors side after another wonderful week of training at the club.
The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit won a practice match 4-0 against Manga FC with Raimi netting a goal on Thursday.
“I am pleased that the coaches are happy,” he told Footballlive.ng. “We have to enjoy playing and always maintain the winning mentality, but we can’t stop working.
“I love my job, and I respect this club. The fans here show their feelings, and that encourages us to do well.
“I think we are playing well and always look dangerous going forward,” the utility player said.
With the NPFL set to resume, the Benin Republic international has shrugged off the threats of the oppositions.
“As shown in previous matches, we are always in control, dominating the rival,” he opined.
“We won’t let our guard down and always play to the gaffer’s instruction.
“Abia Warriors have to show more zeal in the competition and we need to do that. Of course we need to be humble but believe that we can make a statement.”
