Austrian club Lask Linz is reportedly close to finalizing the signing of Sporting forward Jonathan Alukwu. The player is expected to arrive in Vienna next week to complete the transfer.
In response, Sporting Lagos has secured the services of former Shooting Stars striker Samuel Ayanrinde as a replacement for Alukwu, who has scored six goals for the club this season.
Alukwu joined Sporting Lagos from Heartland at the beginning of the current season and has previously represented Nigeria’s U-23 side.
