Striker Leke James was in high spirit as his Molde team moved closer to qualifying for the UEFA Europa League group stage.
The former Aalesund goal banger made the matchday squad as the Norwegian giants completed a double over Laci with a 2-0 win on Thursday, to qualify 5-0 on aggregate.
His compatriot Daniel Chima was handed a starters shirt at the Stadiumi Laci. Leke James came into the fray for Chima on the hour mark.
The Town of Roses were forced to dig deep as Laci mounted a spirited response, though, thanks to goals from Fredrik Aursnes and Petter Strand.
With a two-legged appetiser with Hibernian next on the cards, Leke James hailed the attitude exhibited by the Town of Roses.
“We really played very well and scored at the right time. I think we showed a great winning attitude to win,” the striker told Footballlive.ng.
“The next round with Hibernian will be very difficult but we are equal to the task. There is no cause for alarm.
Molde will face Lillestrom in their next league outing on Sunday 5th August.
