On Tuesday night Leon Balogun scored his first goal for premier league side Brighton in a 3-1 win over Crystal Palace; checking the list of a personal goalscoring record.
The 30-year-old defender rifled home a half volley having only been on the pitch for 25 seconds and with his first shot.
Although not a high scoring center half, Balogun’s 12th senior career league goal means he has scored for every club he suited up for.
His senior career started with little known Türkiyemspor Berlin, with whom he spent a season, made 29 appearances and scored 4 goals.
Balogun then went on to play for Hannover 96, Werder Bremen, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Darmstadt 98 and Mainz 05.
The West Berlin-born native’s career path has seen him graduate from B teams to the senior teams of the same club or demoted to their B teams.
