KAA Gent of Belgium are bound to lose another player to Levante of Spain, as the club that recently signed Moses Simon from the Belgian side are also considering a move for his fellow-Nigerian, Anderson Esiti.
Details of the report out of Spain indicate that Esiti has become the latest summer target for the former club of Obafemi Akinwunmi Martins, who appear eager to build their team round the enterprising Nigerian duo.
Gent have been busy of late, selling no fewer than three Nigerians this summer and Esiti could be the latest after the departure of Peter Olayinka was sold to Slavia Prague of Czech Republic, Samuel Kalu to Bordeaux and Moses Simon to Levante.
Esiti, who has been capped twice by the Super Eagles, joined Gent from Estoril Prai of Portugal in 2016 for a fee of around €1.5m, but could be allowed to leave for little under €3m.
With the deal just hours away from completion, Esiti will most definitely team up with his Simon in Spain ahead of the 2018/2019 Spanish La Liga season.
