With Nigeria ready to face Liberia in an international friendly match in honour of the Liberian President George Oppong Weah in Monrovia on Tuesday, Super Eagles team coordinator, Patrick Pascal has stated that the game will provide opportunity for some players to express themselves.
He said that those called upon for the battle with the Lone Stars are happy and ready to showcase their talents.
“Some players deserve to play against Seychelles but couldn’t get the opportunity to do so. Everybody won’t be on the pitch at the same time,” Pascal told Footballlive.ng.
“No one wants to be on the substitute bench in matches. Theirs is no exception in the win against Seychelles.”
“Friendly matches give coaches the chance to test fresh legs and see fringe players in action. I belief the players on parade will be hoping to impress coach Gernot Rohr on Tuesday night,” he concluded.
