Nigeria national U-20 gaffer Paul Aigbogun has praised the overall performance of the Super Eagles in their 4 – 0 win over Libya saying the victory will serve as motivation for the boys ahead of the return leg on October 16 in Tunisia.
The former Enyimba and Warri Wolves handler said. “To win any game by 4 goals to nil is fantastic and it gives them a lot of confidence going into the return leg in Tunisia.”
Nigeria will play Libya in Sfax on Tuesday a venue most fans believe is neutral for both teams and Nigeria could take some positives from that but Aigbogun insists that football most times takes different turns. “In football you can never tell but with the win yesterday, it will put a spring on their foot and having played the team, they now know a lot about them.”
Despite a man of the match performance from Odion Ighalo Aigbogun has decided to praise the entire team’s performance. “I think a lot of them played well, when you win its difficult to single anyone out but in the second half most of them did very well.”
