Lobi Stars Captain, Anthony Agbaji Confident Ahead Of CAF Champions League Preliminary Round

The Pride of Benue, Lobi Stars FC are set to battle Cameroonians, UMS de Loum in Yaounde in the CAF Champions League Preliminary Round First Leg on Wednesday and the team’s captain, Anthony Agbaji has come out backing he and his teammates to do business in Cameroun.

Speaking exclusively to www.footballlive.ng but the team’s readiness for the clash, the experienced Lobi Stars FC captain said, “It is a pleasure and a privilege to be among the team representing Nigeria at this prestigious competition. We have prepared very well, the team spirit is very high and we greatly optimistic about the match on Wednesday.”
He added, “As a team we are very happy, energized, ready for the game and the weather has been very conducive.”
Agbaji promised Nigerians that he and his teammates were not going to be underestimating the UMS de Loum team despite the knowledge that this was the team’s first experience in the CAF Champions League.
On the target in Cameroon, “We going for victory and will come out in full strength to be victorious on the day.”
He went on to back Lobi Stars to win both legs of the Preliminary Round in order to set the team on the way to restoring Nigeria’s slot in the CAF Champions League.
He concluded by thanking all Lobi Stars fans for their support while assuring them that the team is set to make them proud.
