Lobi Stars forward Waheed Adebayo has revealed that he might leave the Benue State club at the end of the season, expressing frustration with the current state of football in Nigeria. Adebayo disclosed that he has received offers from both domestic and international clubs and is contemplating a move abroad.
Speaking candidly, Adebayo said, “The world of football depends on the program that comes after the season. For now, I’m just training, and I’ve got a lot of offers on my phone, both from Nigeria and other countries. I just pray that a good deal comes my way. To tell you the truth, I’m really tired of Nigerian football. I’m looking for something great outside this country because of our system and everything. A lot has been wrong.”
Adebayo’s comments highlight the challenges faced by players in the Nigerian league and his desire for a more promising future in football.
