Nigerian Premier League Coaches has revealed their support for the newly appointed Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George.
Rangers technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu, in an interview, stated the significance of Finidi’s tenure, not only for the former Ajax winger but also for its potential impact on the reputation of Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) coaches.
“If Finidi fails, the NPFL coaches have failed because I don’t think we will have that type of chance again as NPFL coaches, that’s why we are praying for his success.” He said.
He expressed confidence in Finidi George’s coaching abilities, noting, “Finidi must succeed, we are all praying for him because his appointment doesn’t only involve him; it involves NPFL coaches too.”
“All NPFL coaches are going to support him, I believe he has the qualities, capacity, and everything needed in a coach to succeed with the Super Eagles” the former MFM coach concluded.
