Everton’s Nigerian-born youngster, Ademola Lookman was in top form for The Toffees in their international friendly against Gor Mahia of Kenya and helped himself to a goal in his side’s stunning 4-0 win.
Footballllive.ng gathered that Lookman, who has had a bitter-sweet season since transfer issues distracted his start to the campaign, put the home side 1-0 up in the 16th minute.
Lookman, who shas made five English Premier League appearances off The Toffees’ bench so far this season, struck home Cenk Tosun’s cross from the right for Everton’s opening goal.
After Lokkman’s opening goal, the East Africans struggled to cope with the England under-21 international, who was in action for 85 minutes, after which he earned applause from Everton captain, Phil Jagielka.
Jagielka said: ”Ademola has been on fire since he came for pre-season and is trying to get himself some game time.
“He did himself no harm with his performance (on Tuesday). His attitude was fantastic, spot on.
He played 85 minutes so it was nearly a full game for him and it is nice to see him out there enjoying his football.”
