In the 43rd minute, Ademola Lookman doubled the lead with a clinical finish, putting Atalanta firmly in control.
Torino struggled to find a way back into the game, and their hopes were further dashed in the 71st minute when Mario Pasalic converted a penalty to make it 3-0. The penalty was awarded after a foul in the box, and Pasalic made no mistake from the spot.
With this victory, Atalanta have amassed 69 points from 37 games, effectively denying Roma a spot in next season’s Champions League. The Europa league winners have one more game to play, against Fiorentina to close out their season.
Torino, meanwhile, finish the season with 53 points. Despite their efforts, they were unable to match Atalanta’s intensity and quality on the day.
