Nigerian Forward, Ademola Lookman resumed his goalscoring duties for Atalanta, scoring the only goal for the team in a 4-1 loss to Parma in a preseason friendly game.
Parma walloped the UEFA Europa league champions, with Dennis Man scoring a brace in the fixture. Ange-Yoan Bonny and Anthony Partipilo also scored for Parma in the game. Ademola’s goal came in the 33rd minute, halving the deficit to 2-1 at the time.
Alarm bells were also rung during the game, as Gianluca Scamacca had to helped off the pitch after suffering an injury in the 50th minute of the game.
Atalanta have officially three games in the current off-season period, with their only win coming against their own U19 team, drawing 2-2 against AZ Alkmaar.
La Dea will play another friendly against St Pauli, the UEFA super cup against Real Madrid, before they open their Serie A campaign against Lecce on the 19th of August.
