Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye signs a 4-year contract extension with his Serie A team, Udinese Calcio to cool off interest from clubs.
This deal will keep the first choice goalkeeper with the club until June 30, 2028.
Okoye joined Udinese in 2023 and has become a key player, helping the team avoid relegation from the Italian top league last season.
His spectacular saves led to the club extending his contract amid interest from top clubs like Inter Milan.
Udinese confirmed the news: “Still together, more than before. Udinese Calcio and Maduka Okoye have renewed the contract which will see the Nigerian goalkeeper linked to the Bianconeri club until 30 June 2028.”
