Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye kept a clean-sheet and helped Udinese to a 1-0 victory over Como in Serie A on Sunday.
This was Okoye’s third appearance for Udinese, and he delivered a solid performance.
The game’s only goal came just before halftime when Florian Thauvin set up Kingsley Ehizibue, whose cross was converted by Brenner.
Como nearly equalized right before the break, but Gabriel Strefezza’s shot narrowly missed.
In the second half, Maduka Okoye had close calls, including stopping a shot from Da Cunha and securing a header from Marc Kempf.
Ehizibue also played a crucial role by clearing another close header from Kempf off the line, ensuring Udinese held onto their lead.
