Kwara United midfielder Issa Magaji believes Akwa United will make it tough for the Ilorin based team in Wednesday 18th July Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) game.
The Bravo Foot product is relishing the clash at the Kwara Stadium Complex, although he feels it will not be easy against Abdu Maikaba’s men.
“I’m looking forward to the game and it is an important match for us. Matches like this is usually a win-win situation. We just have to win.
“Akwa United won the Aiteo Cup last year and we’ll be one of the favourites to win the league title, so we want to record a victory against them.
“I’m in no doubt Akwa United will prove a tough opponent because they are a great team, capable of playing at a high tempo and strong tactically, and it will be very demanding,” he told Footballlive.ng.
