Nigerian duo, Josh Maja and Semi Ajayi starred on both sides of West Brom’s win over Stoke City. West Brom maintained their unbeaten start to the season by claiming a 2-1 win at the Bet365 stadium.
Karlan Grant opened the scoring for the visitors in the 16th minute, scoring off an assist from Tom Fellows. Lewis Koumas equalized swiftly for Stoke City in the 29th minute, with Million Manhoef creating the goal.
Josh Maja landed the telling blow just two minutes after, with Tom Fellows bagging his second assist of the game.
West Brom held on for the rest of the game and did not concede again, as they could also not get a goal to stretch their advantage.
The baggies are now sat 4th place on the championship log after 3 rounds played, and they will host Swansea City in their next game.
