Makanjuola Nureeni Describes Gabriel Okechukwu’s Transfer To Wydad Casablanca As His Birthday Gift From God

Agent of CHAN Eagles Striker, Gabriel Okechukwu has come out to appreciate God following the successful transfer of the player from 2017 AITEO Cup winners, Akwa United to 2017 CAF Champions League winners, Wydad Casablanca.

Speaking exclusively to www.footballlive.ng, he said, “Okechukwu Gabriel signed a four year contract with Wydad Casablanca of Morocco and that was God’s birthday gift to me. So I appreciate God for making move possible.”

He went on to describe the transfer as a thing of joy for himself and the entire Water FC, Abuja family even as he wished the left footed striker best of luck at his new Club and further success in his playing career.

This will be the second player of Makanjuola Nureeni to sign with Wydad Casablanca following the signing of Babatunde Micheal, Super Eagles player at the Brazil 2014 World Cup in July and both players would now hope to help the Moroccan to consecutive CAF Champion League Trophies.
