Manchester City forward, Kayode Olanrewaju has joined Ukraine giants, Shakhtar Donetsk on loan till the end of the season in a deal that includes a buyout option.
Olanrewaju, joined City from Austria Vienna last summer but was loaned to newly promoted La Liga side Girona.
The striker struggled for game time at the Montilivi and tried to push for a move from the club in January but it fell through.
According to brila.net sources the 24-year-old the club is willing to trigger the player’s buyout clause, should the 2016/17 Tipico Bundesliga top scorer hit the ground running.
Shakhtar Donetsk confirmed the transfer on the social media platforms on Friday.
