Manu Garba Returns as Head Coach of Nigeria’s U-17 Golden Eaglets

Date:

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has reinstated Manu Garba as the head coach of the country’s U-17 national team, the Golden Eaglets.

The 58 years old coach who previously led the team to victory in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2013, resumes his role with immediate effect.

The former Nigerian international will spearhead the team’s preparations for the upcoming WAFU B U-17 Championship, set to take place in Ghana next month. This tournament serves as a qualifier for the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.

Garba’s return marks a pivotal moment for the Golden Eaglets, who aim to reclaim their dominance in youth football after being eliminated at the quarter-final stage in the last Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
