Nigeria U-17 Team Head Coach, Manu Garba has sounded optimistic about the chances of his charges at the WAFU U-17 tournaments which serves as qualifying competition for the 2019 U-17 AFCON Tournament.
Coach Garba who believes his team are set to do the nation proud said, “We have worked so hard in Abuja during the camping and it is time for the boys to put what they have learnt in training into action.”
On the quality of his team, he said, “I quite believe in the capability of my boys as on a good day they are simply a great team to watch. We will give out best on Monday against Burkina Faso as victory in our first match is very important and by God’s Grace at the end of the game we will come out victorious.”
He concluded by saying his team were ready and up for the task ahead in Niamey, Niger Republic.
