MFM FC Coach slams Club’s Transfer Policy after Djoliba Defeat

Date:

MFM FC Coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu has taken shots at the club’s management again, after Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Djoliba in the CAF Confederation Cup first leg match in Lagos, criticizing the club’s lack of transfer activity early in the season.

Djoliba snatched a valuable win that hands them the advantage ahead of the second leg and in his post match presser [h/t naijafootballplus], Ilechukwu insists his players did all they could but stressed that ” you cannot use what you don’t have.”

‘The Malians are better but it’s not yet over however it will be very difficult for MFM, there is nothing we can do now; sad news, sad result but at the same time football.

‘Every coach is always positive, but in football we must say the truth. The truth is that in this condition the Malians have an advantage but in football anything can happen.’

‘We didn’t underrate any team, what we showcased today is what we have, you cannot use what you don’t have.

‘Before the beginning of the CAF Champions League, I said a lot of things about signing players.

‘This is our structure, this is what we have, and you can’t use what you don’t have,’ He stated.
