Outgoing FC Porto of Portugal midfielder, Mikel Ndubuisi Agu has declared that he would prefer plying his trade in France this season than Spain, as he says the style in the French Ligue 1 is more appealing to him than La Liga.
With Agu now holding out for a summer dal at either Olympique Marseille of France or Olympiakos of Greece the lad, who played on loan at Bursaspor of Turkey last season, says he would accept a deal in La Liga only if it comes from a very top rated club.
The opening in France includes a look in from Bordeaux, who have been offered a chance to sign Agu, with Porto asking for €4.5m in order to let the player go.
However, Bordeaux are looking unlikely to move for Agu after agreeing a deal with Hadjuk Split for Toma Basic, which gives Olympiakos a chance of hooking the midfielder.
