Tianjin Teda of China midfielder, John Mikel Obi’s heartthrob, Olga Diyachenko is staying optimistic and keeping trust in her hubby to shine at the World Cup, as she believes the Super Eagles’ captain and his teammates will bounce back from Saturday’s loss to Croatia.
Though Olga admitted it was painful seeing the Eagles lose their first match at the Mundial in her country of birth, the Russian beauty stressed that Mikel is always a winner in her eyes and charged Nigeria to go for victory against Iceland on Friday.
Olga took to social media to console with the Eagles over their defeat, but enthused that they will bounce back, while also encouraging her husband to remain a winner, despite a disappointing start to the tournament.
She wrote: “You win some, you lose some my love… you are always a winner in my eyes. Love you. Go Nigeria.”
