Bafana Bafana are really ramping-up the pressure ahead of the top of the table clash against the Super Eagles in the second-leg of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier later this month.
South Africa’s Bafana host the Eagles at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg and the 1996 Afcon winners are urging fans to pack the stadium and “give them the sort of intimidating atmosphere in Jo’burg”.
In a 26 seconds video posted on social media on the Bafana official Twitter handle, Head Coach Stuart Baxter made the clarion call to Bafana fans – and possibly the entire South African nation to pack the stadium on November 18.
“As you know we’ve a big game coming up; very important, against Nigeria in AFCON. It will be great to give them the sort of intimidating atmosphere, here, in Jo’burg like they gave us when we visited Nigeria.
“So, get behind your team get behind Bafana; enjoy your day, and let’s try to pull this one off,” the English man appealed with a big grin across his face.

Nigeria top group E with 13 points, just one more than second placed South Africa, and a win for the three-time African champions guarantees a return to the competition since 2013, when the Eagles won the title in South Africa.
