Moffi scores, But Nice Falter

Date:

OGC slipped from fourth place into fifth place as they failed to win for a fourth consecutive league game. The Stadium de Toulouse was a frantic venue as Toulouse came from a goal down to defeat OGC Nice.

The away side came into this side seeming to break their winless streak and they immediately jumped on it as Terem Moffi scored in the 8th minute. Nice had more possession and more shots on target in the first 45, but would head into the halftime break with their solitary goal advantage.

The second half showed from intent from Toulouse who had a whopping 10 attempts, despite only controlling 42% of the ball. The home side took their time, and they equalized in the 65th minute thanks to Thijs Dallinga. Toulouse made it a quick fire double as Yann Gboho scored a second goal for the home side in the 69th minute, completing the comeback.

Toulouse held on for a massive three points to take their season total to 29 points. Nice now sit fifth with 40 points from 24 games played.
