Kano Pillars goalkeeper Yusuf Mohammed insists the his club can beat El Kanemi Warriors in Wednesday’s Northern derby.
Masu Gida are 10 places and nine points ahead of Imama Amapakabo’s men.
Mohammed believes Ibrahim Musa’s side can account for the scalp of the Desert Warriors at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
“I think we have a team to win this derby,” he told Footballlive.ng.
“Elkanemi had a magnificent season last year and we can’t underestimate them for one moment.
“At home we are very strong and we must know how to win this match,” said Mohammed, who reiterated that he had total confidence in coach Ibrahim Musa.
