Fernebahce of Turkey winger, Victor Moses has likened the atmosphere he is enjoying at his new base with what he used to enjoy during his days with the Super Eagles, and admitted he misses playing for Nigeria.
We gathered that Mose is still ruing memories of last Friday’s loss away to Keyserispor in the Turkish Super Lig, but insists he is already enjoying his days with Fernebahce.
Moses has turned his attention on the next fixture, as his side host Konyaspor on Saturday, ahead of which he is again expecting a charged atmosphere at their home ground.
Heading into Saturday’s upcoming fixture in Istanbul, Moses is of a view that The Yellow Canaries will be able to recover lost ground, because their fans will cheer them to victory, just as he recalls it is with Nigeria.
Though it was a shock unilateral decision by Moses to quit the Nigerian team soon after last year’s World Cup, where he scored once against Argentina in the last group match, he went on to confess that he misses the charged scenes that envelope Eagles’ matches.
Moses added: “I feel love here and the fans are really pushing me. Not so different like when I play for Nigeria.
“I miss playing for Nigeria as making the fans happy is our goal as a team. Same as here with Fenerbahce.”
