Moses, Iheanacho Face Fresh Obstacles In EPL

Date:

Chelsea winger, Victor Moses and Leicester City attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho are facing fresh obstacles and rounds of anxiety in the English Premier League, as both Nigerian players have again become largely ineffectual at their respective clubs.

Such it was again this weekend, as Moses was benched for all 90 minutes in Chelsea’s 3-2 win against Arsenal, while Iheanacho played only the last eight minutes for The Foxes in their 2-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

On the other hand, Iheanacho’s compatriot at Leicester City star, Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi was on for all 90 minutes at King Power Stadium, as his side spanked Bright Enobakhare’s Wolves, courtesy an own goal by Matt Doherty and James Maddison’s strike.

While Enobakhare missed the game, Ndidi put in a full shift for The Foxes and was joined on the pitch by Iheanacho in the 82nd minute.

Bournemouth winger, Jordon Ibe watched from the bench, as his side stormed from behind to beat West Ham United 2-1 at London Stadium, but Nnamdi Ofoborh has longer to wait for his senior debut after he was left out of the squad.

In the late kickoff at Stamford Bridge, Alex Iwobi got his first start of the season for Arsenal and his a goal in his 99th game overall for The Gunners, but his side lost 3-2 to Chelsea, who had Victor Moses is on the bench for the duration and Tammy Abraham was not dressed.
