Chelsea winger, Victor Moses has apparently lost out in the pecking order of forwards likely to join his former club, Crystal Palace in January, as The Eagles are now said to be looking at Liverpool striker, Dominic Solanke instead.
Moses had been tipped all along to swap his torrid days at Chelsea for a possible return to the halcyon beginnings he enjoyed at Selhurst Park, but Solanke might become the one to play spoiler to those hopes.
Footballlive.ng gathered that Moses is no longer top of the transfer radar at Palace, and the supplanter is Nigerian-born former Chelsea hitman, Solanke, who has not found the going smooth at Anfield.
Rather than go for an outright deal with Moses, Palace hope to sign Solanke on loan when the January transfer window opens.
Palace coach, Roy Hodgson knows that his team needs to score more goals, as they only have 14 in the league this season.
Palace are just above the bottom three and face a fight to stay up this season, and they hope Solanke can help give them avoid relegation.
