Chelsea winger, Victor Moses appears heading closer to a loan exit from Stamford Bridge in January, following his absence once again from The Blues’ match day squad against Manchester United.
Moses had been tipped for at least another substitute’s role for the hosts on Saturday, but he ended up watching from the stands, as his colleagues settled for a 2-2 draw at home against their former coach, Jose Mourinho’s Red Devils.
Before Saturday’s game, Moses had also been left out of Chelsea’s teams that battled Newcastle United, Bournemouth, Cardiff City and Southampton, as he is not in the frame of the club’s new coach, Maurizio Sarri’s tactics.
For the umpteenth time, Sarri again left Moses out, despite making two changes to the side that thrashed Southampton 3-0 before the international break.
The Italian gaffer opted to deploy Eden Hazard and Willian on the wings, to support top striker for the afternoon, Alvaro Morata, with Pedro on the bench.
All three have prevented Moses from getting game time under Sarri so far this season and, having played only 26 minutes off the bench in two matches, he looks bound to move on loan.
In Moses’ absence, Chelsea maintained their unbeaten run in the English Premier League this season, but failed to make hay against a side that has been clouded by team disunity for the better part of the campaign.
He could only watch, as both teams tried to cancel each other out in the early afternoon fixture that was played at an electrifying pace.
