Chelsea right-wing-back, Victor Moses has missed out on flying to Australia for pre-season with The Blues, as he is yet to resume from summer holiday.
In contrast with initial reports that Moses was bound to join up with the squad on Tuesday, the Super Eagles star is still away, and could not be part of the squad that flew out Down Under.
Also missing is Kenneth Omeruo, while Ola Aina, Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham are in the squad that jetted off to Australia on Wednesday night and are set to play a match against A-League side, Perth Glory on Monday.
Moses and Kenneth are yet to report for pre-season and will probably return to Chelsea’s site at Cobham in the next few days for some fitness tests before they resume training with the squad next week.
They were both given an extended break due to their involvement with the Super Eagles at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Moses and Omeruo will, therefore, not be there when Chelsea face Perth Glory at Optus Stadium on July 23 before battling Inter Milan at the International Champions Cup in Nice, France on July 28.
The Blues will also battle London rivals, Arsenal in Aviva Stadium, Dublin on August 1 and Olympique Lyon at Stamford Bridge on August 7, as they count down to the new season.
Also, as winners of the FA Cup, Chelsea will play Premier League champions, Manchester City in the Community Shield on August 5 at Wembley Stadium, London.
