Moses Puts Aside Europa League Shut-out

Date:

Chelsea winger, Victor Moses has pushed aside the snub he got from The Blues’ gaffer, Maurizio Sarri for Thursday’s Europa League fixture in Greece, as he has turned his focus on getting a shirt in the English Premier League on Sunday.

Chelsea are set to visit West Ham United in a London derby on Super Sunday, ahead of which footballlive.ng gathered that Moses has set his mind on finally adding to a paltry nine minutes of action he has seen so far under Sarri.

Moses has received further hope of making The Blues’ squad on Sunday, after one his rivals, Pedro suffered a serious shoulder injury during the 1-0 win over PAOK Saloniki on Thursday.

The 31-year-old Spain international collided with the opposition goalkeeper during dying minutes of the encounter to put a slight dampener on an otherwise very positive evening in their opening Group L opener in Greece, after Willian’ s early goal handed Sarri his first European victory.

For the game, though, Moses was again left on the bench by Sarri, as Chelsea got off to a winning start in the Europa League, with the cruise away to PAOK of Greece.

However, despite the no-show he was forced to stomach once again, Moses is staying upbeat and took to social media to reveal how calm he is, as he turns his focus on the next game on Sunday.

“Happy to see the team win, not sad on the bench, thinking of Sunday in EPL,” Moses enthused.
