Chelsea star, Victor Moses is relishing his side’s glorious start to the new English Premier League season, and described their 3-0 away victory against Huddersfield Town as a ‘massive win.’
Moses chose to stay upbeat, despite confirmation coming from his substitute role that he has lost his place in Chelsea’s starting eleven.
The Blues’ new Italian handler, Maurizio Sarri opted to play him off the bench in his side’s English Premier League opener, as Moses is now behind Pedro, Willian and Eden Hazard in the pecking order of wingers.
Nigerian fans would now worry that they will see a different setting to what happened last season, when Moses played 28 matches for Chelsea, and he was so regular that he starred less than ten minutes only once – against Southampton in April.
However, though the warning bells are getting louder and he did not get enough minutes against Huddersfield, Moses was delighted that Chelsea won their first match of the new season on the road.
The Crystal Palace product, who previously played for Wigan Athletic, after which he was on loan from Chelsea to Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United, stated: “Great way to start the new season. Massive win! #CFC.”
