Chelsea of England right-wing-back, Victor Moses may end up becoming the last player to arrive at the Super Eagles camp for the friendly against DR Congo, as he will be in action with his club in the English FA Cup final few days before the game.
With Chelsea set to battle Manchester United in the big match on May 19, Moses is set to get exemption from the opening week of the Eagles’ camp to recover after the game.
Although, Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has already declared that all the invited players must report at the camp in Uyo at the May 22 deadline, Moses is set to be excused.
The Eagles are scheduled to camp in Uyo for a few days before heading to Port Harcourt to face DR Congo in a friendly on May 28.
The team will then proceed to London where they will face England in another friendly on June 2 at Wembley.
The Eagles’ final friendly will be on June 6 against Czech Republic in Austria, where they will camp for 10 days before leaving for Russia on June 12.
Nigeria will play Argentina, Croatia and Iceland in Group D at the World Cup.
