Moses Turns Attention On Europa League Fixture

Fernebahce of Turkey winger, Victor Moses ha quickly put behind him the agony of his first loss since joining the club in January, as he wants to start planning for Thursday’s clash with Zenit St. Petersburg of Russia in the UEFA Europa League.

 

 

Footballlive.ng learnt that Moses was left in sadness on Friday, after his side, who had a man sent off, fell 1 -0 away to Kayserispor, but he has shaken of the setback to focus on a recovery against Zenit.

The continental fixture will come almost a week after the former Super Eagles star, who is on loan from Chelsea of England, played his third match as a substitute for Ferne in the Turkish Super Lig.

Moses replaced Mehmet Ekici early in the second half, as The Yellow Canaries tried to make up for the dismissal of Roberto Soldado before interval.

However, the going was tough or Moses and his pals, such that the 28-year-old winger also got booked soon after his entry into the fray.

Moses also missed the chance of an assist, as his clear pass to Jailson could not lead to a goal, because the Brazilian star’s shot on goal was stopped by the opposing keeper.

Another Fernehahce player, Tolgay Arslan also get a red card toward the end of the game at Kadir Has Şehir Stadium, where the loss kept Moses and his new pals 13th on the Lig table with 23 points, but now turn their attention on seeking a revival against St. Petersburg.
