Moses Turns Attention On Huddersfield Clash

Date:

Chelsea right-wing-back, Victor Moses has put behind him celebrations of Sunday’s 1-0 win against Liverpool, as he says The Blues have to turn attention fully on Wednesday’s clash with Huddersfield Town.

Moses is happy to see that his side are still in the running to snatch a top-four finish at the end of this season, hence the need to quickly put Sunday’s stunning win against the UEFA Champions League aside and focus fully on another victory in midweek.

Moses described Sunday’s game as a great performance by The Blues, and was equally happy to get the assist on Olivier Giroud’s lone goal of the game, but stressed that all eyes should be on doing even better against Huddersfield.

Moses delivered the cross that led to Giroud’s header in the first half which eventually sealed the important victory.

It was Moses’ fourth assist in 27 league appearances for the Blues this season and he is delighted that he helped Chelsea to victory.

The Blues, who sit in the fifth position in the EPL table with 69 points, two adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, boosted their chances of securing a Champions League berth with the crucial win.

Antonio Conte’s men will next face Huddersfield on Wednesday, and Moses has charged up his teammates for victory, as they need another win to keep up their push for a top-four finish.

“Big win and great performance! We go again Wednesday,” Moses wrote on Twitter.
