Super Eagles and Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has expressed confidence that many top teams are interested in signing him.
The 27-year-old showcased an outstanding performance at the 2023 AFCON, catching the attention of many with his defensive skills and control at the back. Nwabali is open to a move to a bigger club.
In an interview with the South African news outlet iDiski Times, Nwabali revealed that although no offers have been finalized, he is prepared for a greater challenge.
“The transfer window is going to open soon, and for me, I wish to take a step forward. I don’t know if it will be South Africa or Europe,” Nwabali said.
“I played well for my club (Chippa United) this season, and they also want me to play for a bigger team.
Whether it’s in South Africa or Europe, I am ready to play. I’m not saying goodbye yet; many big teams are looking for me,” he added.
Nwabali has been linked with clubs such as El-Ettifaq, Queens Park Rangers, Union St. Gilloise, and Kaizer Chiefs.
