Christian Madu has joined his Nigerian compatriot, Ibrahim Alhassan at Portuguese side CD Nacional.
Madu signed for the Primeira Liga side from Enugu Rangers despite the Nigeria League side being on break, due to a legitimacy crisis in the FA.
News of Madu’s transfer was posted on Twitter by midfielder, Alhassan, who also joined the team this season.
The former Akwa United star tweeted:

Both Nigerian players are midfielders and will hope to help the Primeira Liga side stay in the top division.
