CSKA Moscow of Russia returnee, Ahmed Musa will on Tuesday be eyeing a goal in the Europa League, as he is set to line out with his club against Red Star Belgrade of Serbia.
Musa is part of the Moscow-based army-owned club’s squad for the match, and looks good for a starter’s shirt, as he is one of three strikers named for the clash, alongside Vitinho and Fedor Chalov.
It means Musa will make his second competitive debut for CSKA in the Europa League tie with Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday.
Musa and nineteen other players flew to the Serbian capital on Monday morning, but manager Viktor Gancharenko is still keeping his options in the starting role close to his chest.
Musa can participate in that game scheduled to hold at Stadion Rajko Mitić (Beograd) as he has been registered for the competition and named in the Army Men’s provisional roster.
The Super Eagles star has already netted three goals for the Muscovites in friendly matches since his return to the club in January 2018.
