Super Eagles striker, Ahmed Musa has finally sealed a deal that will see him return to CSKA Moscow of Russia for the remaining half of the current season, following an agreement between the army-owned club and Leicester City of England.
Information on offer at the weekend revealed that, in spite of initial reluctance by Leicester to allow Musa go on a loan deal back to Moscow, both sides finally reached a compromise ion thorny terms.
Consequently, The Armymen on Sunday announced that they had reached an agreement with Leicester over the signing of Musa.
In Musa’s first spell with CSKA, he had 54 goals and 29 assists in 168 matches, but the 25-year-old star still has contractual obligations with Leicester until the end of the 2019-2020 season.
Musa’s intermediary, Tony Harris, however, confirmed that his client will now undergo a medical on Monday, after which he will be unveiled by the Muscovites before the transfer window closes on Wednesday.
”Leicester and CSKA have agreed on the transfer of Musa (and he) will move to CSKA on loan until the end of the season.
”It remains for him to undergo a medical examination to complete the transfer. It will be held on January 29,” Harris said.
