Super Eagles stand in captain, Ahmed Musa is keeping his feet firmly on the ground ahead of his country’s next match against Libya in the day 4 of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Tuesday.
Expectations are high after a resounding 4-0 demolition of the Mediterranean Knights last Saturday in Uyo.
Speaking to Footballlive.ng, Musa said, “Everybody in Nigeria is euphoric and happy; we have to cope with the high expectations of the people.”
“As a country we should not get ahead of ourselves. We have to be realistic.
“We must ensure that we hold, not only for the people and the fans, but also for ourselves. The qualifiers has just begun. We have achieved an impressive result, but we still have a long way to go to play in Cameroon 2019.
