Wolverhampton Wanderers’ recuperating goalkeeper, Carl Onuoha Ikeme could return to the club to find his upper Eagles pl, Ahmed Musa one of his new teammates at the English Premier League newcomers.
Ikeme is currently in the last stage pof hi recovery from leukemia, with high hopes of joining Wolves back in the English top-flight, while Musa has now been targeted for a summer transfer by the team.
Musa is back in top form on loan from former EPL champions, Leicester City at CSKA Moscow of Russia, which has apparently instigated fervent interest in his signature by other clubs.
Consequently, Ikeme’s club have reportedly ready to table a bid for Musa in the summer, as the 25-year-old faces an uncertain future at Leicester.
It was from The Foxes he was sent on loan back to his former club, CSKA, in January of this year, but he has also attracted attention in the Turkish Super Lig.
Wolves would face competition from Galatasaray for the Nigeria international signature but two other Super Lig sides, Besiktas and Fenerbahce, are also said to be interested in Musa.
Leicester, though, want to recoup the £16 million they spent on the ex-Venlo striker, but due to his failings in the English top flight, Wolves may feel they can lure him away cheap.
Musa signed for Leicester in 2016 he has gone to scored just five times in 33 appearances for the Foxes but the former Kano Pillars man played one Premier League this season before returning to Russia.
Musa has made 67 appearances for Nigeria, scoring 13 goals, playing in two World Cups in the process.
