Despite scoring a brace of goals in his first match of 2019, Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia attacker, Ahmed Musa could only rate behind his club’s Moroccan star, Abderrazzak Hamedallah, who hit a hat-trick.
However, footballlive.ng gathered that Musa’s form was still ahead of his Brazilian teammate, Giuliano, who netted once, as Al-Nassr romped to a stunning 6-0 victory against Al-Jindal on Thursday.
Nonetheless, Musa was thinking only of his own impact in the King Cup fixture, as he celebrated his club’s big win.
The former Kano Pillars, VV Venlo of Holland, CSKA Moscow of Russia and Leicester City of England took to social media to celebrate the win.
The Super Eagles assistant captain stated in his post that he was happy to start 2019 on a glorious note for self and club, then praised his team-mates for their efforts in the encounter.
