My first 90 minutes in the Spanish Laliga- Omeruo

Date:

Rock solid defender, Kenneth Omeruo who was on from starting to end of the match against Levante. Though his team lost two goals to nil in that encounter.

Speaking to exclusively to www.footballlive.com.ng is the former U-17, U-20 world cup player Kenneth Omeruo.

It was not a good feeling we lost the match two goals to nil, we actually gave it our best as a team but we conceded a late goal as at the 88 minutes of play.

We will go back and see what we can do, because we will be playing against Athletico Madrid in the next match in our home soil.

It’s going to be a very tough match knowing fully well that Athletico Madrid has a rich pedigree when it comes to Spanish League .

As a team we are determine and ready to throw in our very best to make sure we carry the day.

Regarding my first 90 minutes in the Spanish laliga ,my first game in CD Leganes i came in as at 26 minutes of play after one of our defender was injured,
Then my second outing ,i started the match but was later substituted almost at the end of the match because i was injured.

The match against Levante was my third match which i made the starting line up for my club and also played full 90mins without being substituted.

It is a very exciting feeling to know i played my first 90 minutes for my Club in the elite Spanish league.

The Super eagles defender concluded by saying we hope to beat Athletico Madrid come Saturday.

CD Leganes is presently 18 position on the Spanish laliga log with 8 points.
