Enyimba will not count on their reputation and history on the continent when they face Rayon Sports in the CAF Confederation Cup second-leg quarter-final clash in Aba.
Recounting the events of the first-leg in Kigali, Enyimba defender Sunday Adetunji said the home side showed respect, but expects that the visitors will not sit back on Sunday.
‘We know how the opponents feel about us, once you hear Enyimba it is not always easy. Even in Kigali their fans weren’t so comfortable because they know our pedigree.
‘We know this and so we must raise our game because this second-leg won’t be easy; names don’t play football, and approach the game as it comes,’ said Adetunji.
