Nazifi banks on form to land spot at U20 Cup of Nations

Striker Nafizi Yahaya is banking on his good performance to win him a place in Flying Eagles’ team to the 2019 Total U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Niger.

The forward who plays for Kano Pillars scored two goals for the Paul Aigbogun managed side in the second leg of the qualifiers against Mauritania last weekend
Nafizi who holds high prospects of becoming a future star is quite confident he is doing enough to make the final cut.
“It’s been fantastic, so far so good and I have enjoyed playing for my country at the U20 qualifiers,” Nazifi told Footballlive.ng.
“It’s was really good against Mauritania because I worked very hard for it and scored two goals.
“Form will be important to make the cut to Niger. Hopefully I hope to be injury free before the competition in Niger.
Nazifi is a product of the NPFL Youth Development initiative.
