Ndidi Looks Forward To Benin Game

Date:

Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has re-acknowlegded the quality that the super eagles possess. The midfielder was speaking on the situation of the group, with Nigeria placed fifth after picking up just three points in their three games thus far.

Ndidi said that the team want to win, but it’s just a part of football for results to not go their way sometimes. He emphasized on the play in the second half, mentioning that if they played the same way, they will have a better outing in their next game against Benin Republic.

“We’ve got three points, but this is football, sometimes we don’t get the points. But it doesn’t change the fact that we’re a good side with quality players. For the next game, this would serve as an eye opener, i think if we can approach the way we played in the second half, i think we’ll get something in the next game”, said the midfielder.

The super eagles of Nigeria are now set to play the squirrels of Benin Republic at the Felix Houphouet Boigny stadium in Ivory Coast, on monday.
